Callie Drury 10U Girls
Callie is looking forward to going to the worlds and she cannot wait to get her Team Jacket.
Brittni McKenzie 10U Girls
Brittni hails from Lethbridge and has been coached by Shanda McKnight. Coaching duties have been taken over by Mr. Iwaasa as Coach Shanda just gave birth to a son at the end of October
Devin Halko 10U Boys
Devin plays out of Edmonton Alberta, and is coached by his Dad, John. This is his first year attending at Junior Worlds.
Danielle Drury - 12 U
Danielle is playing 12U in Esprit and also 14U in the Challenger Cup. This will be her first trip to Junior Worlds.
Sami Harb - 12U
Sami can been seen on the court most days. He plays out of Cedar Springs in Burlington. He is an all round athlete, very aware of what is happening on the court. He is being coached by Mike Ceresia and National Team player Ryan Smith.
Coby Iwaasa - 12U
This is Coby's first Worlds. From Lethbridge, Coby is coached by his Dad. He truly won his right to be here by playing the extra match at Junior Nationals.
Michelle Morrisette - 14U
Michelle resides in Baie-Comeau. This is the first year for Michelle on the Junior National Team, she has played Junior Worlds in the past. Her racquet of choice is a Head Metallix.
Brittany Nelson - 14U
First girl from Ontario to make the Junior National Team is what her dad and coach said when she won the right to represent Canada at the Worlds. She plays out of Sandcastle Racquets in Windsor. She is coached by her proud dad, Terry Nelson.
Samuel Murray - 14U
This is the second year for Samuel on the Junior National Team. He resides in Baie-Comeau and is coached by Rino Langelier. Last year in Bolivia he played 14U boys.
Taylor Blue - 14U
Taylor resides in Brandon, Manitoba and is part of the Brandon Development Centre. This is his first trip to Junior Worlds.
Frederique Lambert - 16U
Gold medal winner of the 14U, Frederique has been playing very well. She almost upset Rhonda R at the Canadian Classic, but suffered a minor injury. She is back and looking at duplicating her Gold performance from last year.
Brigitte Richard 16U
Brigitte is a member of the Junior National Team and also the National Development Team. She is partnered with Frederique for Doubles. She hails from Quebec and is coached by Michel Gagnon.
James Slamko - 16U
James resides in Alberta, and is coached by Marc C. He was one of the few team members that did not send in a photo, so we did the best we could. This is the first year that James has been on the Junior National Team. He is well respected for his officiating by the the Open players.
Pedro Castro - 16U
Pedro plays out of Sani Sport and is coached by Rino Langelier. He is a good all around player, and he will be one to watch at the Worlds.
Denise Haynes - 18 U Girls
Denise is a member of the Junior National Team and also the Development Team. From Digby Nova Scotia she is currently attending Acadia University. Denise is a all round athlete, playing in several sports. She is also attending Coaching education workshops hosted by Racquetball Canada in her spare time.
Christine Richardson - 18 U Girls
In 2005 Christine won the 14U Gold Medal at the Junior Worlds. Playing 18U this year she also a member of the Development Team. Her coached is her Dad, Ross Richardson. She has been a member of the Regina Development Centre for several years, and plays out of the Regina Courts and Fitness.
Sean Barclay - 18 U Boys
Sean is playing 18U this year, from Saskatoon, Sask. He is coached by his Dad, Rob Barclay and also by Loren Prentice. Rob attended both the Canadian Classic and the US Open.
Mathieu Messier - 18 U Boys
Mathieu is playing 18 U this year. From Mascouche, Quebec. Coached by Rino Langelier. Mathieu plays smart heads up racquetball.
